The stone structures of the boutique hotel follow the architectural footprints left when Terlingua was a booming mining town in the 1880s. Regional lumber, Ocotillo stalks and stacked rock from its hillside were all used when rebuilding the sprawling property over the years. Today, the hotel offers West Texas visitors six unique guestrooms to choose from with modern comforts and a touch of rustic Mexico decor. Several outdoor patios include firepits, lounging, an outdoor kitchen and stunning views of the Chisos Mountain range.
Translated, La Posada Milagro means The Miracle Inn and was named “One of the Best Places to Spend the Night” by Conde Nast Traveler and “One of the 15 Best New Hotels in Texas” by Texas Monthly in 2012.
