The home was built as a ‘town house’ for a local ranching family and constructed with native rock from the Apple Ranch in the Glass Mountains. Completed in the 1940s, it includes ‘Victory V’s’ in the exterior rock faces, intended to memorialize the Allied victory during WWII.
This home is a quaint mixture of original furnishings along with updated bathrooms and a full kitchen. Porches on the front of the home allow visitors to relax and enjoy those great, wide-open West Texas skies. We put up hummingbird feeders during hummer season. Birders welcome!
