ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF

LOCATION: Post Park (Fort Peña Colorado Park)

Marathon hosts two annual chili cook offs over the 4th of July holiday. Both benefit local charities (including the Marathon Volunteer Fire Department).

  • Cowboy Chili Cook Off

  • Mustang Chili Cook Off

– CASI rules apply.
– Participation is open to anyone over 18 years of age.
– Entry fee is $25.00 for each cook, each day.
– Meat used for preparing the chili is limited to GROUND MEAT ONLY.
– Judging will be held at the Post Park.

Don’t forget the Annual 4th of July Dance – also held at the Post Park on the same night (Saturday, July 7, 2018).
