Big Bend National Park Hiking Adventure is a three-day event hosted by West Texas Trail Walkers.
The adventure will feature three hikes over the weekend. The Lost Mine Trail is the first hike and is rated 3C or moderate and will climb 5,600 to 6,850 feet. The Walkers will host its annual banquet at the host hotel Big Bend Resort in Terlingua, but bring your own beverages. 8 a.m. Oct. 7. Carpooling is encouraged.
