The annual Carroll Shelby event is scheduled for Thursday September 29th through Sunday October 2, 2016. This annual event is orchestrated by the Terlingua Preservation Society which is a 501(3)(c) non-profit corporation run by friends who share a passion for Carroll Shelby designed vehicles and in particular the Texas Big Bend country where Shelby liked to spend his R & R during his hey day. The main event is held at the Lajitas Golf Resort in Lajitas, Texas with some aspects being held at other locales around Brewster County. Proceeds from this event go to help the Terlingua community.
