Come celebrate the 182nd anniversary of Texas Independence from Mexico with the Terlingua annual impromptu parade between the Porch and the High Sierra celebrating the sacrifices of those who won our freedom that has been so easily forgotten by native Texans and unknown by the naturalized and visitors.

The parade is scheduled to begin around 5:30 P.M. (but is notoriously late) at the Porch. The route will leave for the High Sierra, then turn around back to the Porch.

Gathering for the parade will be at any time necessary for the preparation of your “float” to make the 5:30 start.

Please try to attend with a float or just as a spectator. Hope to see you there!
