Trans-Pecos Ultra is the only self-supported ultra marathon in Texas. The race showcases Big Bend, a vast and mountainous region in the Chihuahuan Desert, third largest desert in the Western Hemisphere. The 6-stage, 7 day course traverses 163 miles, which makes it the longest, individual foot race in Texas.
