WEST FEST CABRITO COOK-OFF AND DANCE

LOCATION: Post Park (Fort Peña Colorado Park)

Come and join us for one of Marathon’s most popular events, the West Fest Cabrito Cook-off and Dance!

Awards and cash prizes for:

CABRITO   |   BRISKET   |   SALSA   |   DESSERT   |   BLOODY MARY   |   MARGARITA

FRIDAY:

  • Registration at Post Park starts at 6pm

  • Steak Social in the evening

  • Live music and dancing: Target Altuda from 5pm – 8pm  |  Tessy Lou and the Shotgun Starsfrom 9pm – 12am

SATURDAY:

  • Registration at Post Park starting at 8am

  • “Calcutta Competition” with proceeds split between the winner and the MVFD

  • Games all day: cake walk, washers, egg toss, bouncy house / water slide (weather permitting)

  • Live music and dancing: Target Altuda from 4pm – 7pm  |  Tessy Lou and the Shotgun Starsfrom 8pm – 12am

  • Auction at 9pm

Cooking competitors can get forms on-line at www.marathonvfd.org or pick up forms in-person at J & G Service Station, The Gage Hotel, the post office, or Marathon Volunteer Fire Department.

Entrance by donation. All proceeds go to the Marathon Volunteer Fire Department.
